Software Engineer

EOS International is seeking a Software Engineer to join our Microsoft .NET application development team. EOS International is a Carlsbad, California software company specializing in web-based Library Automation Software and Knowledge Management solutions for libraries. Our sophisticated library automation software products are sold worldwide to digital, media, corporate, legal, medical, government, and academic libraries.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years development experience.
  • 5+ years of web development experience using C#, ASP.NET, XML, AJAX, (D)HTML, JavaScript and jQuery.
  • Solid foundation using Visual Studio 2010 Team System, .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.0, and SQL Server 2012.
  • String knowledge of T-SQL, writing stored procedures and functions.
  • Agile/Scrum development experience is a plus.
  • Strong experience with all stages of the SDLC.
  • Solid analytical/problem solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal/communication skills.

Help Desk Analyst

EOS International is seeking a Help Desk Analyst to join our Client Services/Help Desk team. Minimum requirements include 5 or more years supporting web-based software products in both a Cloud and Locally Hosted environment, support of Microsoft technologies including IE, IIS, SSRS, SQL scripts and queries. Must be a positive and outgoing individual with exceptional communication skills, show technical troubleshooting skills from past work environments, and have positive client referrals to demonstrate past superior support success with client/vendor relationship building. MLS or experience with libraries and knowledge centers desired.
