Under Tony's direction, EOS has established itself as the premier, world-class ILS provider for special libraries. Tony's extensive experience with high technology companies and solid relationships within the library industry, combined with his commitment to pushing the boundaries of service quality, has played a key role in EOS International's extensive growth and success. Over the course of his library industry career, Tony has earned many awards for outstanding achievement and commitment to customer service, most recently listed in the Heritage Book of Who's Who, as a finalist in the Ernst & Young 'Entrepreneur of the Year' competition, and having earned the coveted U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Small Business Person of the Year for 2006.

 

Tony Saadat's reputation as an executive who builds strong companies is well known in the library industry. Tony joined EOS as the Chief Operating Officer with more than 15 years of library industry experience and was quickly promoted to Chief Executive Officer. He has had particular experience building successful organizations offering software solutions to special libraries and was instrumental in the successful start-up of companies such as ILS and Crescent Consulting. Tony graduated with honors from Birmingham University in England and went on to earn a Masters degree in Computer Science at the University of British Columbia in 1983. After working as a software engineer for several years following graduation, Tony was appointed Director of Client Services for SydneyPLUS International. He quickly earned a well-deserved promotion to Director of Sales and Marketing, followed by being chosen for the leadership role of Executive Vice-President, Sales and Marketing.

Salvatore's appointment as Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing has expanded EOS International's executive team to help drive the company's international growth, while strengthening the U.S. library automation and knowledge management sales and marketing programs. As Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing, Salvatore is responsible for the formulation of EOS' sales strategy and for the management of the company's emerging business opportunity activities. He focuses on the long-term strategic issues and opportunities for the company.

 

Salvatore provides EOS with over 20 years of extensive sales and marketing management experience. In addition to his previous position at Microsoft as Regional Director for Africa, India and the Middle East, he also held key management positions at AT&T Corporation, as Director of Global Sales and Marketing, NCR Corporation, as Managing Director of NCR's Caribbean Operations, Galileo International, as Director of Global Sales and Marketing and most recently, Vice President and General Manager for CAIS Internet's software subsidiary, CAIS Software Solutions.

 

Mr. Provenza graduated with honors from Wright State University and completed his graduate program in international management from the University of California, Berkeley.

Jeff was named Director of Research and Development, in May 2001. In this role, he directs EOS' worldwide Research and Development program and helps guide EOS overall technical strategy. In his 17 years with EOS, Jeff has been a champion for insisting that all EOS software development be driven by direct librarian input, which has resulted in marketplace opportunities for EOS. EOS' industry leading products are growing annually, powering the library automation, content, and knowledge management infrastructures of special libraries of all types and sizes all over the world.

 

Trained as a computer programmer, Jeff has held key development positions at EOS, successfully applying his disciplined programming knowledge to solving real world technology problems. Jeff's top priority as head of the Research & Development team is to stimulate innovation in key areas and quickly bring those innovations into the marketplace to sustain and grow EOS' existing business, and to create the new businesses of EOS' future. Prior to his present appointment, Jeff helped develop EOS' Manager Series, GLAS, and Q-Series. Jeff holds a B.A. in Computer Science from Drew University, Madison, NJ.
